Travel from Agadir through southern Morocco to Zagora and the dunes of Erg Chegaga. This three-day journey combines Aït Ben Haddou, Ouarzazate, the Draa Valley and off-road desert scenery, with one night in Zagora and one in a desert camp. Prices start at €370 per person. Itinerary
Day 1
Agadir to Zagora
Early pickup, then travel via Taliouine and Taznakht towards Aït Ben Haddou. Visit the ksar and stop for lunch at your expense. Continue through Ouarzazate, with planned studio and Taourirt Kasbah visits subject to opening times, then reach Zagora for dinner and a hotel or guesthouse overnight.
Day 2
Zagora to Chegaga
After breakfast, depart towards M’hamid around 10:00. Stop in Tamgroute for its library, underground kasbah and pottery, and continue through the Draa Valley and Ouled Brahim oasis. Lunch near Erg Lihoudi is extra; an optional camel ride is also extra. Continue off-road towards Chegaga via an oasis for dinner and a night in a tented camp.
Day 3
Chegaga to Agadir
After breakfast, cross the tracks towards Lake Iriki and Foum Zguid. Continue through Taznakht with a carpet-cooperative stop, then return via Taliouine after a lunch break at your expense. Arrival in Agadir is expected late in the evening.
